David Bowie - The Stars (Are Out Tonight) With Tilda Swinton, Andrej Pejic, and Saskia De Brauw

Exploring today's cultural obsession with celebrities, David Bowie's latest effort 'Stars' showcases some amazing talents all wrapped up in one seemingly insane music video that'll have you either asking yourself "What the fuck did I just watch?" or in my case "What the fuck did I just watch, I'm obsessed!" You have David Bowie and actress Tilda Swinton playing an older couple who appears to be living a seemingly normal life in a small suburban town until their world is turned upside down by the arrival of a troubling young celebrity couple played by models Andrej Pejic and Saskia De Brauw. At first you'd think their just some kids trying to ruin the lives of the older couple until reality becomes nothing more then a game and all of a sudden your watching some sort of extraterrestrial cluster-fuck that you'd expect out of some old Hollywood film. Along with the masterful directing by Jeff Cronenweth, the styling for this video should not go unappreciated which featured designs from the likes of Jil Sander, KTZ, and more. It's been 10 years since David Bowie released any new music and after this superb display of creativity, it's a sure sign that David hasn't lost his touch at all. His album The Next Day due to release March 8, 2013 is David's twenty-fourth (yes people, twenty-four) album to date and since he's proven in his recent 2013 efforts to stay relevant even decades later while other former music icons *cough* Madonna *cough* seem to dwindle away, David's originality and drive to stay true to himself might be his guiding light to yet another crowd-pleasing album.

Ashish Fall 2013

London Fashion Week never really grasps my attention like the others do, but leave it Ashish Gupta to have myself reconsider. After a stellar Spring 2013 show at last seasons London Fashion Week, Ashish has yet again delivered a collection that'll have you wishing you had some fairy dust to transport you to Neverland. Sequins, sassy phrases only a 16 year old girl would dispel, and overly dramatic pieces are Ashish's forte and while it may not be as commercial as his other London contenders, it's certainly becoming quite the demanded and desired designer to have accessible across the world. I guess every girl still has a little teenage angst at heart and so Ashish is here to deliver (still wishing he could take on menswear for the teen boys at heart like myself). i-D Magazine: Witches

A coven of model witches? Sounds perfect. If you were anxiously awaiting for the next installment of teenage witch-esque girls (as I do naturally), then i-D magazine has cooked up some looks that'll have you under their spell in no time. Featured in this mischievous coven of models; Cara Delevingne, Charlie Bredal, Codie Young, Louise Parker and Magda Laguinge take us to a world of high fashion with a touch of "unpopular high school girl takes revenge on the head cheerleader". i-D Contributing Fashion Editor Sarah Richardson explain the process of the editorial; "We live close to Camden and it was the idea of young girls growing up & hanging out in Camden and how they might dress and behave. We wanted to find girls that felt a little mysterious and had that London mischievousness." Sounds as though these girls are supposed to be good witches but everyone knows that girls can get a little out of hand, especially if they're witches.

Lana Del Rey - Burning Desire

"I'm driving fast, flash, everyone knows it. I'm trying to get to you baby and everyone knows it," Lana sings in a delicate whisper. Is she taking about a mysterious lover? Either way, Lana Del Rey, everyones favorite girl next door gone bad has yet again delived a sexy new approach at advertising. After a long anticipated wait, the collaboration between Lana Del Rey and the campaign for the Jaguar F-Type sports car has finally released an ad campaign that's got all my attention, and naturally the video could easily pass for one of Lana's music video in itself. Featuring Lana singing one of her tracks "Burning Desire" in the famed South East London Rivoli Ballroom; the video is definitely toned down compared to some of her more inventive videos, but alas I'm finding myself just as intrigued. Considering Lana looks just as flawless as ever and adding the hauntingly sexy track along makes the video a definite pleaser. Following the release of the video, Lana said in a recent interview that she has been working on creating some songs made "specifically for a big movie set in the 20's coming out this summer" AKA The Great Gatsby we can all assume, so naturally I've found myself ecstatic at the news. In the end it's apparent this video has taken some effect on me (and assuming thousands of others), considering I now have a burning desire to get myself into this sports car, and of course the addition of Lana herself wouldn't hurt.

Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Fall 2013

Presenting her fifth Opening Ceremony collaboration collection, Chloë Sevigny has once again delivered a collection that is getting all the attention for all the right reasons. Taking some inspiration from her teenage youth Chloë admits, her latest collection features everything from looks based off the feminist movement of the 60's and even some teenage angst of the 90's and leaving just enough room to fill the rest will some personal touches that only Chloë could understand, such as the Egyptian ankh and eye, cherries, and double-crossed hearts. Baby doll dresses, miniskirts, A-line coats and skirts worn with platforms and modern ankle boots were all present making the collection most definitely a throwback, but what mostly stood out was the actual presentation of the collection itself. Fitting accordingly to Chloë's unique esthetic, the collection wasn't going to be like all the other runway shows this season, but instead like the true rebellious teen at heart that Chloë is, she invited some friends of hers along from a band to play some music all while the models (one of which was Chloë herself and the bandmates included) stood out in front on stage looking as though they were more then ready to start protesting right that second. Carrying giant signs painted with slogans such as "Thinner", "The Agony of Power", "Nancy Boy", and "Time to Have Sex", this visual presentation was one of a kind that wasn't hard to miss. Real Life Exp.

The day-to-day tasks and activities that teenagers partake in may seem meaningless at times, but in this new short film brought to us by NOWNESS and a new up-and-coming Norwegian director Kristoffer Borgli, Real Life Exp. proves that even the most seemingly irrelevant things in life can have so much meaning after all. Taking a slice of Kristoffer's teenage life, Real Life Exp. shares with us everything from the most mundane activities to rebellious decisions, ultimately leading to a poetic masterpiece not to be ignored.

Babe Watch: Twin Peaks' Donna and Audrey

There are so many babes in this world it's so hard to keep track. Now a babe by definition would easily be described as a sweetheart or endearing person, and while these are valid, my personal example of a babe is much more extensive. I like to think of a babe as more of that person who excels not only in the looks department but also stands out as someone completely original and one-of-a-kind with a style that can either help define a generation or create a whole category for themselves. A babe is that person you swoon over when passing them in the halls of your school, the actor/actress on a tv show that you silence the room just to hear their voice and watch every move they make (sounding slightly creepy at this point), and the person who ultimately inspires you in some way, whether it's their style, their personality, or both.

For my first and definitely not last edition of Babe Watch, I've decided to target my latest obsessions who can be found on the 1990s short-lived cult classic Twin Peaks. The show revolves around a seemingly isolated town in the middle of the woods dealing with investigating the death of Laura Palmer, everyone's favorite homecoming queen. Donna Hayward (Lara Flynn Boyle) and Audrey Horne (Sherilyn Fenn) aren't your average high school teenagers, their my picks for Babe Watch because they inspire me personally in regards to style and in the sense of drama. From the beginning of the series they immediately stem off from the rest of the characters as one of the many reasons to watch the show. Donna is Laura's sweet and emotional best friend who seeks to find Laura's killer but in the process finds herself in a whirlwind of trouble and possibly a conscious-forbidding romance. Audrey on the other hand is everyone's girl gone bad with a knack for getting herself into trouble and a reputation for being the bitch. So yes you basically have your sweetheart and your bitch and sometimes their roles get a little twisted but find out for yourself, watch the show and you'll see what I mean. At the end of just a few episodes you'll have yourself grabbing some old buried away 90's classics and taking to the streets with some much desirable confidence, that of Audrey, and soon after the over-endearing persona and dramatic behavior of Donna.
